Join us for a public meeting this Wednesday, June 29th from 7pm – 9 pm Ondaatje Hall, McCain Building, Dalhousie University next to the Rebecca Cohn Building to show your support. This meeting will be hosted by the Ecology Action Centre, Friends of Nature, Halifax Field Naturalists & the Halifax Northwest Trails Association. We need absolutely everyone who cares about this issue to attend. Tell your neighbors, tell your friends. We need you to come and be counted and to help rescue our future park from being ruined forever.
Take Immediate Action:
If you haven’t done so already please write a submission responding to the facilitator’s report. It’s important to make sure your voice heard by HRM Council!
-Email the city of Halifax to express your disapproval of the facilitators report at firstname.lastname@example.org.
or Write a letter to the Municipal Clerk by mail, P.O. Box 1749, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 3A5; by fax, 902-490-4208 no later than July 4th at 3 p.m.
Remember July 4th is the Monday after the long Canada Day weekend, so you might want to do this well before the 4th of July.
