From WLCC:

What a year this has been for the Williams Lake Conservation Company! Significantly, the provincial government has approved the spending required to replace our old and failing dam!

Although certainly a highlight, this announcement is only one of many highlights for the year, including, but not limited to birding activities, continued monitoring of the quality and quantity of lake water, and enhanced educational activities in partnership with Captain William Spry Public Library.

We will be reporting on these important events and activities at our Annual General Meeting and invite you to join us to get a sense of what’s going on and how you and your family can become involved. Would you like to join us as we continue to protect Williams Lake and its watershed through these challenging times? Come to our AGM.

We are pleased to announce that Denis Pellichero, Director of Engineering, Build Nova Scotia Strategic Infrastructure, will be joining us as guest speaker to talk about the dam.
