On September 13th, many of you gathered with your pledges to ride the bus more. The PCNC is here to support you in your pledge! We continue to advocate on your behalf before City Council and Metro Transit, but the best way our community can make an impact is by continuing to ride the #15 bus as often as we can, creating a permanent change in ridership along our portion of the route.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Bus-to-Market event last month. We packed the bus and had a fun time with our neighbours at the Forum Farmer’s Market. We’d like to make these outings happen more regularly, and have put together a list of Fall Events on the bus route, both outside and inside our community. Please join us and your neighbours at a few of the events listed below. Together we can make a difference!
November 11: Remembrance Day in Point Pleasant Park
9:15 – catch the #15 bus leaving York Redoubt
note: due to the holiday, the #15 becomes route #9, which goes directly to Point Pleasant Park with no transfers along the way–easy!
10:15 – arrive at Point Pleasant Park, walk 20 minutes to the Sailors’ Monument
11:00 – Remembrance Day ceremony begins
